Out Quad Cities 2015

Eleven FFGO ambassadors participated in this regional journey (Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa; Moline and Rock Island, Illinois). There was a catered opening dinner on June 24, where all got to know each other. The itinerary included a tour and lunch at John Deere Harvester the following day. WOW! On June 26, we did a guided tour and lunch at Hauberg Indian Museum and then a tour of Boetje's Mustard Factory. This is world class stone ground mustard with its own personality. On the 27th, was a trip to Nahant Marsh Nature Preserve and a sightseeing tour of the Mississippi River on the Celebration Belle. The exchange ended after breakfast at the Machine Shed on June 29. FFGO ambassadors thought this was a well organized and fun exchange and all enjoyed the home stays with new friends.
